To promote 'lesser' armies, you get a 1 time bonus. That being the difference between your army rating and that of the highest in your pool. Makes up for the rate you have to sit under gas and rolling barage for most of the game

Just to add my thanks for this well organised and enjoyable day, a bit late I know but I went from SB day straight into leave. I had two good, well fought games and it is good to see my LW French performed as well as ever, losing both games. So it is now played four (two as defender two as attacker) lost four, well at least I am consistent. As an added bonus I did not come last this year.

Hopefully see you all next year, will it be Europe Ablaze (1919) or Home for Christmas (1914). I of course can do both!
