With this bad weather in the U.K., Hope you are all keeping safe out there in Piggy land.
Use this time wisely and get your little men painted.
Now the snow is over in Weymouth there is a flood alert around the harbour for Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Iím basing my Navwar ships ready for Trafalgar game at Fisticuffs.

This time we have had no snow, most unusual.
We have had the cold thought between -5 and -10 most mornings and barely rising above 0 during the day.  Had to go out and de-ice the animals and birds water three times a day.

But yep good time for keeping warm and painting.

Preparing WW1 Germans for a game later in the year with the french club I attend.

Lucky for some... I had to put up with the traffic on Thursday evening. Why people leave it until the last minute to get home and cause chaos then complain about the next day ?( it's not like we didn't have any warning about it ? ) And blame everybody else except themselves for being in that situation ???
Then helped clear up Christchurch town center yesterday, got home a promptly fell on my back and now feeling it !!!
Hoping I can get some painting done this weekend !

Painting a lot of FPW stuff at the moment (hoping to do a Walter Schnaffs participation at Phalanx in June). A full covering of snow only lasted one day here in Formby, but Overlord, in Abingdon, to which I was going has been cancelled.

Managed to get out of the village today for the first time since Tuesday. Council have been using JCBs to dig the main road out (8' deep snow drifts). Must say electricity, hot running water and central heating is nice.
Still managed to buy lots of books online, and work out my colour palette for my ECW Scots.

All this snow is turning out expensive. My bit of deepest darkest Derbyshire is cut off (again) due to heavy and drifting snow: the result is 8 more ECW cavalry units, 4 more artillery pieces, lots of casualty markers and yet more carts for the baggage train. Admittedly I could have been drilling hands out, by I didn't fancy that.

Curse you polar continental air mass!

I can empathise with you. We had to return after we set out for the Alumwell show today (Sunday). The snow was blizzarding , so I could not drive on. I am very disappointed and out of pocket. It does look nice when you are indoors though.

We have snow as well here today, a good dump during the night.

Yes some WW1 germans to paint so alls well.

At least the post is still working.
