I have also used the Commission storage boxes - good range of depths although I donít always put the dividers in as this reduces the storage base for figures.

I do now tend to line my boxes with steel paper and use magnetised bases - either magnetic tape cut to size for older bases or neo magnets in newer bases as I tend to buy ones with pre-made holes.

I must say though, I do prefer the warbases boxes as they are crenellated and allow for easier stacking.

Currently working on some PP Pirates as well as a few 15 Arab cavalry to supplement my Abbasid army. Also need to do the large ships for PoE, so all in all quite busy.
As for what to do after those.............massive heap of lead to get through but I think it may be 10mm FPW basing.

Announcements and Shows / Re: Colours show Newbury.

Having been to Colours for many years there was a definite lack of people compared to previous years. Many times I have arrived at 10 Ďoí clock and joined the queue - not this year.

I had very little trouble looking at any stand as there was never a hoard of hungry gamers at any I visited. As for the bring and buy, I donít think I have ever witnessed such a small number of viewers.

Some very nice display games. Liked the Bruce Wiegle game, superb game board and visually stunning. Nice Koreans from Leman et al and I also liked the Rapid Fire game and the TTS Mancetter game.

Rest service at the PP stand as always

Happy to help........otherwise the mountain of PP figures I possess might rebel.

Also it is a great forum with some good reading material

I have used plenty of rule systems that use cms - usually as a base width measurement. Which makes a lot of sense when you consider that most bases are measured in cms (eg 3cm x 3cm bases or 4cm x 3cm). You can get measuring sticks with 4cm segments for example, which makes it very easy.

Bought some yesterday - looks well worth the money

Also picked up some brown corrugated which, with a bit of highlighting on the ridges, should make some lovely ploughed fields

Will post a picture when I have done the highlighting

Do they come in these colours or are they able to be painted?

Certainly agree with much of the above

1. I always Base my figures. Tend to refer to a stand as something like a stand of trees.
2. Depends on the era - mostly scouting but recce for WW2
3. Always a turn
4. Mechanism - the use of the term mechanics is just silly
5. I would toss a coin, roll the dice and donít know what the flip the other term refers to
6. Awesome! Never, not unless I was playing at Gettysburg or Sharpsville - now that would be awesome
7. Men every time unless they arenít men of course when I would refer to them as women or dragons or skeletons or..................
8. Modifier / Factor doesnít really matter to me.
9. Lorry / truck probably depends on period. My US forces would have trucks but the British would have lorries

Seems I am 30 to 43. I wish. I am actually 57

Not had Bellona, never played 54mm, never actually played Warhammer and donít remember Waterloo coming out as I was never interested in Napoleonic wars

Currently working on some ECW

Lots of basing to do as well but that takes a real effort as I love the results but hate the process
