Title: Mill edition 5
Post by: martin goddard on December 26, 2019, 10:43:23 AM
Mill edition 5 should be out start of March 2020?
Please start your work on new articles now gentlemen.
Gamette work will start in 2 weeks as well.

Do remember that high value is placed upon all 15mm related material.
This very much does include normal photos of nomal games in normal situations.
If you get a chance just take a couple (2?) of photos of a game you are playing. Then glue on a paragraph about that game. Article done!

I will do a couple of these myself to gets things going.

Martin,

I'm working on a small campaign system for Vietnam. Half written called The 10,000 days. It doesn't take that long to play fortunately .

I'll look out some photos from a PBI game too using Robs figures.

I'll be very happy to contribute photos of the Beachhead event in February.

I've also promised to contribute a write-up of the Weymouth weekend this year, as well as some photo journalism on a couple of Japanese castles.

John for a one to one. The Rules with No Name is the best youíll get. Loads of dice and good for any scale. 15mm through to 54mm.

Hi Martin
Would really like to see some pictures of how you guys spin up figures during the production process.  Iíve never seen 15mm figures produced before.  Would be a great article.

Now that is a great idea, Paul!

Also maybe some pictures of the sculpting processes would be interesting for many of us?

We obviously don't want Martin to be giving away any trade secrets - I am mentally prepared for certain parts of photos to be blacked out or pixelated :)

I had the privilege of helping to make my own figures a few years ago...late WW1 French if I remember correctly.

I'm pleased to report that I've done my bit in respect of 'Your 15mill needs YOU' and sent you a piece on my first Square Bash with a couple of pics, you should find it somewhere in your doubtless overflowing mailbox Martin.  If there's time after the PITS day I could do a quick write up.

I have just completed my write-up of the German side of things in the Ardennes battle from Beachhead 2020, which should now be with Mike for his unbiased censors to get to work on.

Just the Japanese Castles and another show write-up to go for the next 15 Mill - what is the production deadline please, Martin?

Martin,

You should now have from me:
 - a progress report on the Crete games (sent early in the New Year)
 - the German side of things to go with Big Mike's US propaganda on the Adrdennes Day at Beachhead

Please do shout if you have not yet received either of these!

Still to come (I am off work next week, so should have time before the month-end deadline):
 - Japanese castles
 - Weymouth Weekends photo report
