Title: So have YOU sent your short article in for the 15MM?
Post by: Leslie BT on December 23, 2018, 11:37:01 AM
So have YOU sent in your 15MM article?
Simon has sent Martin the new logo.
Sean is reviewing Civil War Battles without using Martins catch all word "faction".
Stewart is discussing 3D printed buildings.
Leman is showing us all his QRF Scots HMG team with some WW1 kilted Scots infantry.
Sean's working on a Vietnam campaign called "Tour of Duty".
Another Simon is working on all sorts of articles, look forward to seeing one.
Simon is doing a WS article so as to show we are a broad church.
Sean is writing lots of stuff, WWW review, CWB scenarios, WA scenarios, BAW scenarios( I don't know where he finds the time!).
Martin has the first game prepared, figure pack out and on sale and duncan is going to paint and photograph the figures for the first issue.
Sean is having problems with his maths, 110%, I ask you which school teaches that? The same one that has "factions"!
For the new game I have had trouble getting the picture up to 8/0 x 4/0!
Seans got all the pointers to support why 15mm.

I think Martin going to struggle to keep "The 15MM" down to 10 pages!!!

I am already starting to collect articles for edition 3.

The "hurdle" with getting an article done is the  starting it.   If you set an easy target then thee is more chance it will get done.   If you can write 50 words or more, then you have an article for the Mill. Short articles always fit in nicely to give variety alongside the more thorough articles.  So put down 50 words to do with your 15mm wargaming and in it goes.

Some suggestions t get you started.
1. My gaming space
2. What undercoat and why on my 15mm figures.
3. Spears and pikes
4. Storage for my 15mm stuff.
5. My first 15mm unit ever
6. What is 15mm suited for
7. First two boxes of 15mm plastic figures (non WW1/WW2)  should/will  be
8. Biggest 15mm game you have seen/been in.
9. ????

5.

Sometime around may 25th??

So - the anniversary of Igor Sikorsky's birth, and also of the last Oprah Winfrey show.

I feel sure that one or other of those must have some special significance :)

I'll aim to get you my article rather sooner than that, thanks!
