End of the line for some NVA packs.

Check out the PP web catalogue for some of the Vietnam figures that are going to be withdrawn.

These figures must have been in production for many years now, I think they were produced for the original set of rules for Vietnam.

What date would that have been?

Martin,

Did you mean that you were indicating which ones are going to be replaced imminently ('cos if so, I can't see them on the PP website), or was this more general advance notice that some new Piggy goodness is being spun up to replace the entire current range?

1995 this must have been one of the later ranges of figures, so the moulds and sculpts are getting a bit old compared with the other ranges.

Will this be the first of the reworked figures with loose heads so that you can swap the heads easily, as Sean wants?

Hello
There are small notes in the NVA packs that are due to be withdrawn. You might need to refresh the page in order to see the more recent notes?
The first few packs will be RPD   LMG and AK47 packs. Then it probably will be dead and prone. Eventually it will get to the weapon crews, RPGs etc. I think we are expecting about 10 packs in toto.

Im quite happy with figures that come with heafs attached! Im not a big fan of having to build figures. I have some Gripping Beast plastic  Dark Age figures for Saga that remain in their sprue unbuilt.

Don't worry Les I will conquer my fear and tackle some head swaps soon!

Thanks Martin - those bold red notes are very clear now!

Looking forward to seeing what those new sculpts look like  :)

Looking forward to the new figures! I've got some of the old ones kicking around somewhere, but more than eager to see something fresh.
