I've just finished watching (OK, so at less than 9 minutes' long, it wasn't too onerous) an excellent tutorial on painting (largely with an airbrush) a Mark IV tank:

Now, this is aimed at the Bolt Action model, sized for 28mm figures, but many of the principles should apply. I wish I'd seen it before undercoating mine green over the weekend...

I'll see how many of the ideas I can reuse for 15mm, and will post some pictures if all turns out OK.

And the general principles should hold for any model tank.
